Mason White & Associates began in May of 1995 as a consulting consortium performing marketing
and consulting projects for post-acute care organizations in long-term care and assisted living, as
well as companies that may provide services to the LTC and AL industry.
As a consortium, the group works with a small number of professionals with diverse expertise to collaboratively address client issues. Mason White offers access to proven and accomplished talents that can achieve results.
The corporation provides consulting services to the healthcare industry in Revenue Enhancement/Operational Systems Improvement, Managed Care, Policy/Procedure Development, Program Design, Market Analysis, Mystery Shopping, Feasibility and Demographic Studies, and Fundraising along with Sales/Marketing and Public Relations.
Ms. Mason is a former clinician with 10 years of experience and over 20
years in acute and post acute healthcare marketing.
She holds a Masters of Health Services Administration from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois and a Bachelors degree from Murray State University in Murray, Ky. She earned certificates in Assisted Living Management and Long Term Care Administration and formerly was licensed as a nursing facility administrator in Texas.
She is the author of "Marketing the Continuum of Care," published by McGraw Hill and the HFMA.
Mr. White began his career as a group insurance underwriter and
progressed to positions such as Director of Network Management in
provider organizations and Vice President of Operations for an
independent practice association.
He has been on both the provider (in an IPA and a large healthcare system) and payer (in Commercial, workers comp, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid managed care programs) side of the table and is focused on "win-win" relationships.
He holds a MBA from the University of Dallas and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Houston.
Mr. White has achieved Fellow designation in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is currently the Managed Care Chair for the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
MWA performs marketing and consulting projects for post-acute care organizations in long-term care and assisted living, companies providing services to the LTC and AL industry and provider organizations.
MWA is available for short and long term projects as well as interim assignments.
